MTSS Implementers' Network  · Individual Membership
You know students need support. The challenge is building systems that consistently deliver it!
Students get help sooner, educators work more effectively, and your MTSS system creates lasting impact.
For 20 years, I've been implementing MTSS alongside leaders across the states. For five years I led a statewide initiative of 25 districts and 150+ elementary schools and we had improvements in early reading outcomes that were published in a peer-reviewed article. So join me and other leaders to learn what actually works...

This isn't theory. This is what works for education leaders like you, in real schools and real districts, who I've worked with over the last 20 years (Chaparro et al., 2020).
Sound Familiar?
You're working harder than ever — and your MTSS still feels like a collection of disconnected parts.
You have the data. You have the meetings (sooo many meetings). You've sat through the PD days. And yet like clockwork, you're scrambling to remember what the team did last year and figure out if it even worked.
"I'm exhausted from being the only person holding this together. We've got all this data, but we're not actually doing anything with it."
If you left tomorrow, would your MTSS survive? For most of us, the honest answer is no. Here's why that's not your fault:
- Data exists, but action doesn't follow — because there's no protocol for what happens after the meeting.
- Staff are fatigued by another "new initiative" — and you're tired of being the one who has to sell it again.
- You're isolated in your leadership — problem-solving alone because no one else in your building has done this before.
Why Does This Keep Happening?
Most MTSS tools are built for compliance — checklists, fidelity rubrics, mandatory reporting.
But MTSS doesn't work if it's built on a foundation of compliance. It works best when built on a foundation of commitment because you're leading other educators who are also passionate about the work we do. We don't do it to check off the boxes.Â
So how can you build the commitment and get the results? You need an operating system:
clear decision rules, repeatable team routines, and roles that survive staff turnover.Â
That's what's missing. And that's what changes inside the MIN.
The Approach Inside the MIN
This is not more PD. It's a shared operating system for your team.
Every template, workshop, and tool inside the MIN + Vault is organized around the proprietary EPIC Method™ — a four-phase implementation framework built for real schools, real teams, real constraints.
The EPIC Method™: How Leaders Build Systems That Hold
Most MTSS training teaches you "what" to do (assess, intervene, monitor).
The EPIC Method™ teaches you "how to think" — so your team can make decisions without you in the room.
Here are the four phases:
E
Excavate
Get honest about what's actually happening in your system right now. Not what the binder says. What's the real data? We examine the fidelity, the team routines, the gaps — without a shame lens. Clarity comes before change.
P
Prioritize
Focus the team on the two or three levers with the highest leverage for students. Do fewer things well. This is where we intentionally choose to de-implement high-burden, low-impact programs.
I
Implement
Plan routines such as data decision rules and meeting structures that run without you in the room. The goal is not to be a busier coordinator. The goal is a system that any capable person can step into and run.
C
Celebrate
Track and communicate what's working. Normalize iteration. Reinforce the routines before moving on to the next thing. Sustainable MTSS is fueled by implementation teams continuously acknowledging the success stories big and small.
The Result?
By October, your team isn't running your MTSS plan. Your team IS the MTSS plan. They can make decisions, adjust routines, and onboard new people without depending on you to remember everything.
Live Workshops at a Glance
Three workshops. One EPIC Method™ for epic MTSS implementers.Â
A system you can actually use.
Each workshop corresponds to a phase of the EPIC Method™ and walks your team through applying it using the MTSS Operating Manual. By October, you'll have a prioritized plan your team can run.
AUGUSTÂ 2026
Workshop 1
Excavate + Prioritize
See Clearly. Focus Wisely.
Most teams start the year without an honest picture of where they are. I'll guide your team through a structured audit of your current MTSS reality and help you narrow in on the two or three priorities worth your energy this year.
You'll leave with
- An MTSS audit of practices using the Operating Manual
- A clear set of shared priorities before the year accelerates
SEPTEMBERÂ
2026
Workshop 2
Implement
Build Guidelines to Stabilize the Plan.
A plan only works if the team can carry it. I'll walk your team through the decision rules, meeting rhythms, and team protocols that turn August's priorities into consistent practice and reduce the fragility that comes from relying on one person.
YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
- Core MTSS implementation team routines built directly from the Operating Manual
- A system that runs with clarity, consistency, and not just memory
OCTOBERÂ 2026
Workshop 3
Celebrate
Reinforce Progress. Protect Momentum.
October is earlier than most teams pause to reflect, and that's exactly the point. I'll help your team look at early evidence, name what's holding, and reinforce the practices worth protecting before the year gets harder.
You'll leave with
- A completed Celebration Planner from the Operating Manual
- A system that's been tested, adjusted, and reinforced
Why This Timing Matters.
August: You set your foundation. Without clarity by September, teams default back to whatever they did last year.
September-October: You lock in the routines before the year accelerates (you know, right after Halloween when everything goes sideways).
By late October, you're not white-knuckling. You have a system running independently.
Between workshops: You have 24/7 access to the Operating Manual, asynchronous courses, and the member message board. New questions? Post them. Someone (usually Dr. Erin) answers within 48 hours.
Hear From Network Members
Real schools. Real results.
"When I became an MTSS Coordinator, I understood why the work mattered — but figuring out how to actually make it happen was the hard part. Erin and the MTSS Solutions community gave me the clarity, tools, and support I needed to lead with confidence."
Heather Millnick · MTSS Coordinator, Virginia
"Being part of the MTSS implementation network has greatly deepened my understanding of using data to drive decisions and has provided valuable tools for organizing and improving the MTSS systems at my school. It has also significantly enhanced my skills as an elementary administrator."
Dr. Cheryl Fogg · Building Administrator, Wyoming
